Yes, it is required by the State Law for the signer to produce a physical government issued Identification, Accepted ID's include:

• State Issued Identification (any state)
• Driver License (any state)
• Passport (any country)

All Identification must be valid - non expired ID. We can not accept photocopies or pictures of ID's

If a signer does not have a current ID, the law allows for what is called "Credible Witnesses" This is two people that are not interested in the document that personally know the signer. The credible witnesses will need to have valid ID's to show the notary, be present for signing and swear to knowing the signer to be who they claim to be.  They will be required to take an sworn oath and sign the notary's journal.

Signers must provide a valid, government-issued photo ID and the complete document to be notarized. Accepted IDs include a current driver’s license, state ID, or passport. No photocopies or pictures allowed.

Yes, we specialize in traveling to St. Louis hospitals and nursing homes for urgent  needs. We frequently assist with Power of Attorney, Wills, and Healthcare Directives at the bedside. 

Witnesses can NOT be mentioned in document or related to anyone mentioned in or signing the document. Witnesses MUST have current ID available and be present for signing in presence of Notary.  Nurses and medical staff will NOT sign as witnesses on non-medical documents. We can possibly provide witnesses for additional cost - please call to inquire.
